MOTORISTS SHOULD ALLOW EXTRA TIME TO ARRIVE AT CEDAR ISLAND FERRY TERMINAL
Sewer lines being installed on U.S. 70; repaving on N.C. 101
MANNS HARBOR — Motorists traveling to the Cedar Island ferry terminal are urged to allow 30 to 60 extra minutes to get there due to two road construction projects.
Sewer lines are being installed along the side of U.S. 70 between Beaufort and North River. There is also repaving on N.C. 101 between Havelock and Beaufort. Both of these roads take ferry travelers to Cedar Island.
Travelers are urged to make their ferry reservations early and allow enough time to reach the ferry terminal at least 30 minutes prior to departure. For reservations, call 1-800-BY-FERRY (293-3779).
